In the event of a substantial loss of mains power or total blackout, automatic mains failure (AMF) panels, also known as automatic transfer switch (ATS) panels, convert the power to emergency standby generators. Generators must be operated manually without AMF panels, which can result in data loss, electrical equipment damage, and significant interruption.
We design and produce our own AMF panels, which are frequently used as part of a complete automatic standby power system that includes ATS, UPS, and standby generators, as well as remote monitoring and security and safety measures.
When the mains power fails, the AMF board and ATS panels monitor the incoming AC mains supply, activate the standby generator, and automatically transfer the building’s load from the mains to the generating set. The ATS panel controls a return to the mains supply and shuts off the generator after a proper cooling run when the mains supply is restored.
